WVU basketball

West Virginia University vs Texas Tech University.
Opening tip of a quarterfinal game at the Big 12 Tournament on March 14, 2019.

Attended the tournament and was able to get the tip. Tech was the number 2 seed and WVU the number 10 seed. WVU won the game 79-74. Texas Tech went on the NCAA championship game, losing to Virginia in overtime.

Zip line

There was zip line near the hotel so I stood under line and waited for for some people to zip overhead.

I noticed a zip line that was very active and thought it would make an interesting picture.

USS Midway

The USS Midway is an aircraft carrier that was commissioned one week after the end of World War II. It was the largest ship in the world until 1955. The ship was decommissioned in 1992 and it now a museum at the San Diego Navy Pier where you can tour it and see a collection of aircraft.
