The day-long Rosslyn Jazz Festival featured a group from New Orleans called the Cha Wa Band that sent a 30-megawatt energy charge through the audience, including this young lady who got up danced. She was not alone.

When Cory Booker was running for the Democratic nomination for president, he held a press conference at National Press Club. A reporter from Breibart News tried to bait Booker with a racially-charged question, but he was having none of it.

We visited Costa Rica and Panama in February and March 2020. Costa Rica specializes in eco-tourism, and for good reason. Jacamars are elegant insect-eating birds with lustrous feathers found in Central and South America.

Before visiting Panama, I thought the canal was basically a ditch dug out across the isthmus. We learned and saw, however, that much of the canal is lakes created from dammed-up rivers. In this case the SM Eagle, carrying liquified natural gas, or LNG, is entering Gatun Lake near Colon at the canal's Atlantic Ocean terminus.
