Crowd Marches to Capitol on Jan. 6th
Following President Trump's Stop the Steal Speech,his supporters marched to the U.S. Capitol as Congress was
certifying the electoral votes from the 2020 presidential election
The large crowd heads up Constitution Ave to the U.S. Capitol where they merged with more Trump supporters .
Hundreds of people had been listening to Trump's speech with their cellphones all on speakerphone as they
awaited Vice President Pence to arrive.

Capitol Hill Police Officers struggle to contain the growing crowd outside the Capitol. Moments later the
riot fencing was knocked down and the crowd turned mob headed across the driveway to the East side of the Capitol.

Police Forced to Retreat on Jan 6th
The Capitol Hill police were forced to retreat as the mob stormed the Capitol chanting 'Hang Mike
Pence!"
Vice President Pence had arrived about 45 minutes earlier to vote on certifying the 2020 presidential votes
and was inside the Capitol Building as the mob came after him. On the west side of the Capitol a gallows complete
with a noose had been built by the crowd.

Proud Boys Arrive at The Capitol
The Proud Boys arrive at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th just prior to the Insurrection.
Following President Trump's speech on the Ellipse, an estimated 300 Proud Boys arrive at the Capitol,
complete with walkie-talkies to communicate with each other. Shortly after their arrival the violence began.
