The Watergate Complex and surrounding environs at dusk.The Watergate Complex of three residential and two office buildings was completed in 1970, and is most noted for the 1972 break-in that led to the resignation of President Nixon. These iconic buildings sit between the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Georgetown Harbor Waterfront.
