While much the world watched, and disapproved of, a Chinese researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2018\/11\/29\/china-halts-genome-editing-research-crispr-babies\/\">editing the genomes of embryos<\/a> leading to the birth of twins, Editas Medicine in Cambridge, Massachusetts received the go-ahead to conduct a clinical trial using the genome editing technique Crispr.
