Flipboard announced yesterday it&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/about.flipboard.com\/inside-flipboard\/flipboard-mastodon-federated\/\">leaving Twitter and joining Mastodon<\/a>, as well as setting up its own Mastodon server (&#8220;instance&#8221; in Fediverse-ese). As we discussed in December, Twitter became a <a href=\"https:\/\/sciencebusiness.technewslit.com\/?p=44232\">hostile environment for journalists and scientists<\/a>, with Mastodon a much better fit for what we report.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>We designed Science &amp; Enterprise for busy readers including investors, researchers, entrepreneurs, and students. Except for a narrow cookies and privacy strip for first-time visitors, we have no pop-ups blocking the entire page, nor distracting animated GIF graphics.
