When used with Dupont&#8217;s photovoltaic metalization pastes, silicon ink can boost the amount of electricity produced from sunlight, the companies say.<\/p>\n<p>DuPont anticipates that the acquisition of Innovalight will encourage greater efficiencies and future innovations which could better meet market demands for higher-efficiency solar cell designs.\u00a0 DuPont expects its experience in production scale-up and manufacturing operations will accelerate time-to-market for Innovalight products and broaden customers&#8217; access to the technology.<\/p>\n<p>DuPont says it exceeded $1 billion in revenue from sales into the photovoltaic market in 2010.
