The two companies will also co-develop solar cells that promise higher power-conversion efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasolar.com\/index.php\">JA Solar<\/a> has pilot tested Innovalight&#8217;s silicon ink since May 2010. Full commercial production is expected to begin later this year, with Innovalight supplying the ink for three years.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.innovalight.com\/technology_solarink.htm\">silicon-based ink<\/a> developed by Innovalight is comprised of nanoparticles immersed in chemicals that the company says are environmentally friendly. The company also offers a process for applying the ink to existing solar cell manufacturing lines.<\/p>\n<p>Innovalight says its silicon nanoparticle ink and manufacturing process can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.innovalight.com\/technology_products.htm\">boost the efficiency<\/a> of basic solar power cells by up to 19 percent.
