National Press Club 2024 Members Photography Exhibit
Silver Circle
2024 is the 25th straight year National Press Club has put on the members photography exhibit, and NPC's Photography
Team is honoring three original participants in the annual show who posted photos every year since it began. We asked
Christy Bowe, Marshall Cohen, and Jim Dandridge to identify three images they displayed over the years for this occasion,
in what we call the
Silver Circle.
Their selections are displayed in the exhibit with the print photos and with descriptions in the
catalog galleries

Christy Bowe is a photojournalist who has been covering Washington, D.C. for over 30 years. More of her work is
found on her website: christybowe.com. Christy has also authored two books covering her adventures at the White House and
on Capitol Hill: History in the Making and Eyes That Speak.
Marshall H. Cohen is a long-time 44 year NPC member and founder of the Photography Committee. He started as a
stringer for Reuters and later formed his own photography bureau covering the White House, the US Capitol, and many
Embassies and professional and commercial corporations. Prior to turning professional he was awarded over 100 awards in
amateur competitions and one nationall first place award sponsored by British Airways. His website is:

Jim Dandridge is a National Press Club Silver Owl member since 1994. Jim is also a retired US Army pioneer Special
Forces Colonel form the date of President Kennedy’s authorization of US Army research and conduct of Counter Operations.
Jim retired as a Joint Chiefs of Staff Special Operations Branch Chief. Jim is also a retired Senior Foreign Service
Officer in the personal grade of Minister-Counselor. He has been an avid photographer from his student undergrad years at
Howard University. He has been active in photo exhibits internationally in South Asia, Latin America, and here in the
National Press Club and the Metropolitan area. In between Jim’s professional life, he did post graduate studies at the
American University and a Masters Degree in Government at Georgetown University. Jim is also a FAA Licensed Multi-Engine
Commercial Pilot.
