Big Horn Sheep Strike A Pose. Photo by Victoria Gaither

Beautiful big horn sheep at Valley of the Fire Park in Clarke County, Nevada. The sheep are use to visitors photographing them on the petrified wood and red sandstone.

Ending a day at Valley of the Fire State Park outside of Las Vegas I turned the corner to see a herd of big horn sheep standing on red sandstone cliffs. It’s clear the sheep are use to humans as they posed for photos and had no problems interacting with people. I was amazed at how close I was able to get to the sheep. They seemed interested in us humans. I found out later how lucky I was to happen upon these beautiful animals

The Nanticoke Indian Tribe celebrate heritage day at the museum. It’s a time to educate and teach locals about the tribe and the contributions made to the area.

For years, I wanted to visit heritage day at the Nanticoke Indian Museum and finally had the time. I was fascinated with the costumes and dress! Also I interviewed a Delaware Indian Chief at the event who discuss his family history.

Real New Zealand Women Photo Exhibition. Photo by Victoria Gaither

These ladies are apart of a digital photo exhibition that was seen in New Zealand for International Women’s Day 2020.

For the Kapiti Coast Chamber of Commerce in Kapiti Coast, New Zealand, I presented a digital photo exhibition entitled Real New Zealand Women to coincide with International Women’s Day 2020, I had the opportunity to photograph over 70 women from the North Island from all walks of life. The exhibition showed the changing face of New Zealand as new arrivals to the island nation bring different cultures and people. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to present home in America and tell this story because of coronavirus.
