Member of the Press Club since 2004. I am on the Headliners Team and Photography Team. This year one of my phographs of the lunch with Fran Drescher was used in the SAG-AFTRA newsletter. I am not a professional photograpjher but have long enjoyed taking pictures. In a previous life I was a professor of speech communication.

The photo was taken July 4, 2022 at the Fairlingtion VA 4th of July event. Saw the dog and thought it would make a nice photo.
Pickup basketball
Four students playing basketball.
Was in Morgantown WV on June 24 and walking on the Mountainlair(WVU student Union) plaza when I saw 4 students playing basketball Stopped and took some pictures. This one shows two players going up for the ball. I see this picture as timeless as it could be anytime in the past 50 years. A basket, a ball, and a game breaks out.

Animal costumes
Steel City Con April 2022 of people in animal costumes.
Many conventions were cancelled during the early days of COVID. Though the virus is still around , conventions are running. This photo from Apri 2022 show poeple in costumes standing around talking. Actually, the costumes probaly do a good job as masks. I am not a costume person but I am impressed by the effort people put into their costumes.

The Play Begins
WVU and Kansas State football game November 13, 2021 in Manhattan, Kansas.
Went to Manhattan, Kansas for the WVU and Kansas State football game last November. In the photo WVU quarterback Jarret Doege just took the snap as the offense line moves to block and the defense reacts. A lot to see in the photo -- the officials, fans in the stands, people standing off the field.

Actress and SAG-AFTRA president and Jen Judson, NPC president have a moment of humor at a Press Club luncheon.
I photographed the Fran Drescher luncheon and this picture is my favorite. This was one of three of my pictures used in the the story in The Wire and this photo was also used in the SAG-AFTRA newsletter.

Customers Needed
A nearly deserted food court at the WVU student Union
Had some free time in Morgantown on June 24 so went to the Mountainlair (WVU student union). Noticed the food court was nearly deserted. There is one person moving out with a bag probably containing food. The Mountainlair was built when I was a student at WVU and it was always a hustling bustling place. This picture taken about 10:30 AM and it was Friday morning. Business probably picked later in the morning.
