Peter West

Since I retired two years ago after 20 years as the spokesperson for the United States Antarctic Program, I have indulged my passions for traveling, photography and a dash of adventure, most recently spending a month this summer as a public information specialist in the Mariposa Grove of giant sequoias in Yosemite National Park. These photos were taken during a three-day cage diving trip to observe Great White sharks off Mexico's Isla Guadalupe.
