I’m a long-term member of the club who makes no pretense of being an accomplished photographer. Instead, I try to photograph subjects that will be informative and interesting; and that are out of the ordinary. The title of my photos this year is SIGNS OF OUR TIMES.

The advent of drone technologies will be changing our lives. You will already notice that most video productions include amazing aerial scenes, we are long used to reports of drone military attacks and soon we’ll be seeing drone deliveries to our homes. This community has had enough, however.

Those of us who live in Washington DC have sadly witnessed over the past two years, the closure of many previously-public spaces, such as the Capitol grounds. Most of us never expected to see the Supreme Court grounds closed to the public, however, until now.
This Spring, the Supreme Court’s grounds were closed to the public.

Smoking has been prohibited in most restaurants for years, but every once in a while, a restaurant operator has enough literary skills to make their No Smoking sign memorable.
No one lights up in this restaurant.

Sometimes a sign stands out because it perfectly captures the advice this country needs these days.
This sign should be posted on many streets across the nation.
